Terms and Conditions – The Tribe Alpaca Retreat
1. Reservations, payment and cancellations
Reservations are made exclusively through the official website: thetribealpacaretreat.ro. The reservation is confirmed only after full payment of the amount for the services.
Payment is made online, through the methods displayed on the site, or through other methods communicated by the organizer.
In case of cancellation by the client: - if the cancellation is made at least 3 days before the reservation date, the amount paid is fully refunded; - if the cancellation is made less than 3 days before, the amount paid is not refunded.
In case of cancellation for reasons beyond the control of the organizer (extreme weather conditions, safety factors, etc.), the client may opt for rescheduling or a full refund of the amount paid. Failure to show up on the date and time of the reservation will result in the loss of the full amount paid.
2. Participants and access conditions
Access for minors is only allowed when accompanied by an adult who assumes full responsibility.
Persons under 15 years of age may interact with animals only under the supervision of staff and an accompanying adult.
Visitors must respect the access time indicated in the reservation; delays may reduce the duration of the activities, without refund of the amount paid.
Visitors are required to inform the organizer, at the time of booking, about:
- food allergies or dietary restrictions;
- allergies to fur, hay, pollen, insects or other environmental factors.
The Tribe Alpaca Retreat will make every effort to take this information into account, but cannot guarantee the elimination of risks of contamination or exposure.
People with severe allergies are responsible for carrying the necessary medication (e.g. adrenaline auto-injector) and informing the staff present.
3. Clothing and equipment
Visitors should be dressed appropriately for a rural area, taking into account the natural terrain (grass, gravel, unevenness).
It is mandatory to wear closed, comfortable and safe shoes (sandals, slippers or heels are not allowed). Hats/caps and the use of sunscreen are recommended during the visit.
The organizer is not responsible for any discomfort or injuries caused by failure to comply with these rules.
4. Activities and interaction with animals
Visitors must follow staff instructions regarding approaching, feeding, and touching alpacas or other animals.
It is strictly forbidden to scare, hit or force animals. The organizer is not responsible for accidents caused by unpredictable animal behavior if the rules have not been followed.
5. Rules of conduct on the premises
It is mandatory to maintain cleanliness and use trash cans.
Aggressive behavior, excessive noise, consumption of prohibited substances are prohibited, and intoxicated people are not welcome.
The organizer reserves the right to refuse access or to evict visitors who do not comply with the regulations, without reimbursement of the value of the services.
6. Responsibility
Participation in organized activities is at the visitors' own risk.
Visitors are required to follow all staff instructions and posted rules to prevent accidents or incidents.
The organizer is not responsible for accidents, injuries or illnesses resulting from:
- failure to comply with the communicated or displayed rules;
- negligence, inattention or reckless behavior of visitors; - natural conditions and external factors (e.g. adverse weather, rough terrain, insects).
The organizer is not responsible for loss, theft or damage to personal belongings brought into the premises.
In the event of damage to The Tribe Alpaca Retreat's property, premises or equipment, visitors will bear the cost of repair or replacement. Visitors assume full responsibility for their own health and physical condition necessary to participate in the activities.
7. Photography and image rights
Visitors may photograph or film the animals following the staff's instructions; the use of flash or other equipment that may scare the animals is prohibited.
The organizer is not responsible for incidents or accidents resulting from improper photography/filming.
7.a. By making a reservation and participating in the activities, visitors explicitly consent to the photos and videos in which they appear being used by The Tribe Alpaca Retreat for promotional purposes, including on:
- official website;
- social networks;
- printed or digital advertising materials.
Participation implies acceptance of the use of these materials without the right to financial compensation.
7.b. Visitors who do not wish to appear in promotional materials must inform staff prior to participating in activities.
8. Protection of personal data
Personal data collected through the site is used exclusively for managing reservations and communicating with customers, according to the GDPR policy displayed on the site.
9. Changes
The Tribe Alpaca Retreat reserves the right to modify the "Terms and Conditions" at any time, the modifications being published on the website.
